Payment to the Propeo cleaning staff is by services cheques at the rate of one cheque per hour. You can purchase the cheques at €9 each, and they are tax deductible, which means you only pay €7,65 in Brussels, €8,10 en Wallonia and €7,20 per hour in Flanders.
Four simple steps to purchase services cheques:
Step 1:
First you should obtain a free client number. This is possible in 2 ways:
• Online for Brussels and Flanders.
• Submit a form (Dutch) (French).
Two types of cheques exist, paper and electronic cheques. ProPeo prefers to work with electronic cheques.
Step 2:
An information package, containing your client number (3-4-5 digits) and a brochure will be sent to your by e-mail (for online registration) or by post (for registration by form)
Step 3:
The information package will provide details of the account number to which you should make your payment, when you make the bank transfer, be sure to include your client number in the space reserved for ‘communication’. A minimum of 10 service cheques (thus a transfer of minimum €90) must be purchased.
Step 4:
Your cheques will be sent by post.
Propeo staff are paid one cheque per hour. Your provide the cleaner with your user number in case you use electronic chques.
From your tax declaration for the following year, you can deduct €1,35 (Brussels), €1,80 (Flanders) et €0,90 (Wallonia)
